KPIT Interview Experience For Embedded C

 Hi All, I was interviewed by KPIT technologies recently. I want to share interview experience

with you. I have couple of years of experience in embedded c and microcontrollers.

   So Interview was for technical profile and  I was designated as Technical lead after series of interviews.

I am also attaching a snapshot of  my appointment letter on this blog.

Let us discuss company's profile:-

1)It is a well know service based MNC.

2)It is listed on  Indian stock exchange and it's stock is growing at a tremendous pace(If you invest in stocks must know it)

3)It works for big automotive giants like Continental automotive, BMW, Latharge,etc.

4)It has centers in many countries like Germany, Europe and USA.

How many Technical rounds:2

First round with Client of KPIT Technologies(continental automotive):

It was a average interview which lasted for 45 minutes.

I started with my introduction. Interviewer was not asking questions in detail or deep.

He asked from topics of structure padding and packing in embedded c. Later he shifted

his focus from this to ADC .He asked me couple of questions about ADC topic.

His questions were like:-

1)STM32 have which type of adc.

2)Which type of adc is used for lesser noise to noise ratio applications.(external type adc)

3)Types of interfaces to external adc chips.

4)Few questions were from One project that I have done in previous company.

Second Round:-

.Duration:2 hours

First question was on strings.

Input :Consisted of strings (mix of alphabets and numbers) like aaabbnngghh

output:a3b2g2h2

second coding question was on recursion.

Third round: It was taken by KPIT project manager and his team

1)Asked about CMSIS.

2)Which peripheral is basis of PWM.

3)Asked about Operating system and Linux.

After that their was general discussion with team.

After 15 days offer letter was shared by manager. Before that their was a short interview with Hr Manager and I was required to accept the offer in 15 days,which I did.

I was given a laptop with bag and a steel water bottle by kpit(with name of KPIT engraved on it).

It was a nice experience.
